Eddie Lofton: Head Coach

Coach Lofton was born in Jackson, MS on May 26, 1974. He graduated from Oak Grove
High School in May of 1992. At Oak Grove, he lettered in baseball, basketball, and football.
After Graduating Oak Grove, he received a baseball scholarship to Pearl River Community College. After P.R.C.C. and some classes at Jones County Junior College, he went to Mississippi State University where he graduated in May of 1997 with a BS in Education with an emphasis in Science and Physical Education. His first year out of college he accepted the Head Baseball coaching position at Mendenhall High School. After two years at MHS, he left and accepted the Head Baseball job at Seminary High School where he was also the defensive coordinator in football. This is his sixth year as the Head Coach of the Clinton Arrows. His wife, Stacey, is an Interior Designer and is in sales at Persnikety Kitchen in Madison, MS.  The Loftons have three beautiful girls, Mary Elizabeth (12), Taylor Ann (8) and Avery Carroll (3) and son, Connor Cotton (4). Mel and Taylor both attend Clinton Public Schools. The Loftons are members of First Baptist Church in Clinton.
